Terms of Service
Effective September 10, 2026 · Company: Nuvent66 LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company, doing business as TitleFiled ("TitleFiled", "we") · Contact: nuvent66@gmail.com
1. What we do
TitleFiled is a document-preparation and title-recovery assistance service. We research state titling requirements, prepare the required forms at your direction, and assemble a submission package. Where the bonded-title path applies, you obtain the surety bond yourself from a licensed surety; we may include the bond document you provide in your package. Our launch state is Wisconsin.
2. What we are not
TitleFiled is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not a government agency. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), any DMV, or any government entity. Using TitleFiled does not create an attorney-client relationship. We prepare documents at your direction using the information you give us; we exercise no legal judgment, do not select forms for you based on legal analysis of your situation, and do not advise you on your rights. We do not guarantee that any government agency will approve or issue a title.
We are not an insurance agent, broker, or intermediary. TitleFiled holds no Wisconsin insurance-intermediary license (Wis. Stat. § 628.03) and does not sell, place, procure, apply for, solicit, negotiate, or bind any surety bond or insurance product.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree to (a) provide accurate, complete information and documents; (b) confirm you are the lawful possessor or owner entitled to apply for a title for the vehicle; (c) authorize us to prepare and, where applicable, submit documents on your behalf (see the Limited Authorization); (d) sign any separate agency-required form yourself, including WisDOT's conforming odometer-disclosure power of attorney where your vehicle requires one; and (e) comply with all applicable laws. Misrepresentation may be a crime and will result in termination.
4. Fees and refunds
Please read this section carefully. It limits when you can get your money back.
Summary in plain English: cancel before we start work and you get everything back. Once we have prepared your packet, we keep a $49 administrative fee and refund the rest. Once we have mailed or submitted your packet to the agency, the service fee is not refundable. This is separate from, and does not replace, your 3-business-day right to cancel in Section 5.
- Service fee: $299 (standard) / $499 (bonded title), charged at checkout via Stripe. This covers document preparation and coordination only.
- State and government fees are separate and are your responsibility. The Wisconsin certificate-of-title fee is $214.50, made up of the $207 base title fee plus the $7.50 supplemental title fee under Wis. Stat. § 342.14. County, tax, and other agency fees may also apply. Our service fee does not include any of these; they are itemized separately and paid to the agency.
- Surety bonds: TitleFiled does not sell, issue, broker, place, procure, apply for, or collect premiums for surety bonds, and receives no compensation of any kind, direct or indirect, from any surety, insurer, producer, or intermediary. No part of our fee depends on whether you buy a bond, from whom, or in what amount. Where a bonded title requires a bond, you obtain it directly from a licensed surety producer of your choosing and pay the premium directly to them. We do not advise you on bond amounts or coverage; we may restate the bond amount WisDOT itself determines or that Wisconsin law prescribes. Bond premiums are governed by that provider's terms and are not refundable through TitleFiled.
4.1 Refund policy
BEFORE WE BEGIN PREPARING YOUR DOCUMENTS: FULL REFUND. You may cancel at any time before we begin preparing your documents and receive a 100% refund of the service fee.
AFTER YOUR PACKET IS PREPARED, BEFORE IT IS SUBMITTED: WE RETAIN A $49 PROCESSING AND ADMINISTRATIVE FEE. Once your submission package has been prepared, we retain a $49 processing and administrative fee, which represents the cost of preparing that packet, and refund the remainder of the service fee. This applies up until the package is dispatched or submitted to the agency.
AFTER YOUR PACKET IS SUBMITTED TO THE AGENCY: THE SERVICE FEE IS NOT REFUNDABLE.
Government fees and bond premiums are governed by the agency or provider and are not refundable through TitleFiled.
4.2 Acknowledgment
You must affirmatively acknowledge this refund policy at checkout, by checking the acknowledgment box, before your payment is taken. We record the date and time of that acknowledgment with your case.
4.3 Your rights under Wisconsin law are preserved
Nothing in this Section 4 waives, limits, or forecloses any remedy otherwise available to you under the Wisconsin Consumer Act, Wis. Stat. ch. 425, or under any other Wisconsin consumer-protection law. Where this Section conflicts with a right you have under Wisconsin law, Wisconsin law controls.
5. Customer's Right to Cancel
CUSTOMER'S RIGHT TO CANCEL
You may cancel this agreement by mailing a written notice to Nuvent66 LLC d/b/a TitleFiled, 4538 W. Howard Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53220 before midnight of the third business day after you signed this agreement.
What this means. Wisconsin's consumer-approval-transaction statute, Wis. Stat. §§ 423.201 to 423.203, gives consumers three business days to cancel certain transactions that are solicited or consummated away from the merchant's regular place of business. TitleFiled is an online service that collects 100% prepayment for work delivered over roughly 4 to 8 weeks. Rather than argue about whether the statute reaches us, we adopt a 3-business-day right to cancel as our standing policy.
How to cancel. Mail written notice to the address above, postmarked before midnight of the third business day after you agree to these Terms. You may also email nuvent66@gmail.com; we will honor a timely email as valid notice, but the mailed notice is the method the statute describes. You do not have to give a reason.
What you get back. If you cancel within this window, we refund 100% of the service fee, regardless of whether we have begun preparing your documents. This right sits on top of Section 4 and, where the two differ, this Section controls in your favor.
6. No guarantee of outcome or timeline
Processing times are estimates set by state and county agencies and are outside our control. We do not guarantee approval, a specific timeline, or a specific bond amount.
7. Compliance and verification
We may require identity verification and additional documents. Cases that cannot be verified may be paused for manual review or cancelled. Where vehicle-history data sources are used, we comply with their applicable use terms.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the service fees you paid for the affected case. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. This Section does not limit any liability that Wisconsin law does not permit us to limit, and does not affect your rights under the Wisconsin Consumer Act, Wis. Stat. ch. 425.
9. Dispute resolution and governing law
Please read. This section affects how disputes are resolved.
Plain-English summary: most disputes go to individual arbitration instead of court, and you give up the right to join a class action. But you keep the right to take your claim to Wisconsin small claims court instead, you keep every substantive right Wisconsin law gives you, and we pay all arbitration costs beyond a nominal filing fee when you are the one bringing the claim.
9.1 Arbitration. Except as stated in 9.2, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. Arbitration may be conducted by phone, by video, on written submissions, or in person in the Wisconsin county where you live, at your election.
9.2 You keep small claims court. Nothing in this Section prevents you from bringing an individual claim in Wisconsin small claims court (Wis. Stat. ch. 799) if your claim qualifies. Either of us may elect small claims court for a qualifying individual claim, and neither of us will move such a claim to arbitration.
9.3 Your substantive rights are not stripped. This Section changes only the forum in which a dispute is heard. It does not waive, shorten, or limit any substantive right, remedy, statutory damage, penalty, or fee-shifting provision available to you under Wisconsin law, including the Wisconsin Consumer Act, Wis. Stat. ch. 425. The arbitrator may award any relief a Wisconsin court could award on an individual basis.
9.4 Class-action waiver and savings clause. You and TitleFiled each waive any right to participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. If this waiver is found unenforceable or invalid as to any claim, or as to any request for public injunctive relief, then that claim (and only that claim) is severed from arbitration and proceeds in a Wisconsin court of competent jurisdiction; the remainder of this Section stays in force. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a claim that must proceed on a class basis, the arbitration agreement does not apply to that claim.
9.5 Costs. For any claim you bring as a consumer, TitleFiled pays all arbitration filing, administrative, and arbitrator fees beyond a nominal consumer filing fee capped at the amount you would pay to file the same claim in Wisconsin circuit court, whichever is less. You are never required to pay our attorney fees as a condition of arbitrating.
9.6 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
9.7 Acknowledgment. You must affirmatively acknowledge this arbitration section at checkout, by checking the acknowledgment box, before your payment is taken.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate per the refund policy in Section 4 and the right to cancel in Section 5. We may terminate for misrepresentation, unlawful use, or non-payment.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Questions: nuvent66@gmail.com.
