The full cost, up front: beyond our flat $499, a bonded title also has the state's $214.50 title fee and a one-time surety bond (usually about $100 from a licensed bond company, not part of our fee), plus any Wisconsin tax. All-in, a typical project car runs around $815. We show you every number before you pay, no surprises later. If a bond is required you buy it directly from a licensed surety provider, and we earn nothing on it.

Common questions

Which states do you serve?+
Right now we handle title recovery in Wisconsin. More states are coming soon.
What is a bonded title?+
If you can't prove you own the car the usual way, most states let you get a title backed by a surety bond (a small insurance policy that protects anyone who used to own the car). The state sets the bond amount. We show you that number and point you to licensed surety providers, and you buy the bond directly from one of them. We earn nothing on it.

How long does it take?+
It depends on your state and your situation. We prepare your paperwork fast. After that, the DMV (your state's vehicle title office, like the Wisconsin DMV) sets the timing. We give you an estimated date and keep you posted.
Is this legal?+
Yes. We prepare and organize the documents your state asks for. This service is a document-preparation service. We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice.
What if my case isn't straightforward?+
Some cases need a person to look closer, for example when records don't match. If that happens, we tell you, a specialist reviews it, and we explain exactly what's needed.
